Happy Family!

Tonight I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph one of my very best friends, and her beautiful family. She and I have known each other for at least 15 years and have been the best of friends for more than half our lives.

I don't advertise myself as a family photographer primarily because my true joy, as a photographer, is the genuine expression that only a child really gives. I love shooting families, who aren't afraid to interact with one another, in front of my lens, though.

Tonight's shoot was a real treat for just that reason. And the fall colors sure don't hurt.
